The Mk.16 Spitfire was the last of the Merlin engined Spits and later versions featured the bubble type cockpit canopy. This sport-scale modeless to 1/8th scale model spans 54″ (1372mm). Prototype model used a .52 cu.in four stroke engine, but equivalent two stroke could also be used. Construction includes a foam core wing, for which, detailed pictorial instructions are provided.
