The programme for this years three day show is almost complete for what should be the best event ever to be held at the stately home on the Shrop/Staffs border.<!–more–>
The cream of international display pilots from all over the UK and Europe come to the show to fly their latest models on the main display line, including the fabulous Ali Machinchy with his latest toys. The Dawn Patrol team, Horizon Hobbies and the Reds Hawks are amongst others who will give the usual seamless flying program.
The full size displays will include Guy Westgate Glider Display Team, Pitts Duo always a hit with visitors
All the regular trader plus some new ones (there were 75 last year) will be open for business for all three days
This will also be a record year for the number of manufactures and flyers coming over from Germany to support us (Elster Jet formation Team , Sascha Fliegener ,German champion ,Jetcat Jet Team ,
Not to be missed the Air Heli Fest Aerobatic Model Helicopter competition taking place on all three days is getting bigger and bigger. In addition to the comp. A heli flying school with instructors on site to give any one who would like to try model helicopter flying the chance to give it a go.
For 2013 there will be two car racing tracks .One for serious GP racing, the other electric cars courtesy of Horizon Hobbies where visitors will be able to try their hand.
Model boats, Vintage Military Vehicles, and a DLG glider competition complete the line up.
Upgrades for 2013 include
Improvements to the flight line P.A system that will enable the entire audience on the line to hear the commentary Pilots VIP lounge and bar
A bigger pole less main marquee with upgraded interior and professional entrainment.
